HISTORY OF THE COMPANY
| January 1955 | Yoshihiro Makiuchi started his own business selling teaching materials in Uehonmachi, Osaka. |
| August 1957 | The company was reorganized as a legal entity and established as HAKUBUNSHA Co. |
| January 1964 | Head office moved to Shinbashi-Cho, Kadoma, Osaka. |
| December 1969 | Established Hakubun Teaching Material Research Institute Co., Ltd. in Sengoku Nishimachi, Kadoma City, separated the planning and manufacturing departments. |
| March 1973 | Established Hakubun Kyushu Sales Co., Ltd. in Onojo City, Fukuoka Prefecture, and separated the sales department in the Kyushu area. |
| October 1974 | We constructed our new head office building. |
| February 1980 | We expanded the headquarters warehouse. |
| December 1983 | The Tokyo Branch opened in Minami-Hanahata, Adachi-Ku, Tokyo, and separated the sales division for the Kanto region. |
| November 1984 | The company was honored by the Kadoma Tax Office as an excellent tax declaration company. |
| January 1989 | Implemented C.I and changed the name of each company. Hakubunsha Co., Ltd. → Hakubun Co., Ltd. Hakubun Teaching Material Research Institute Co., Ltd. → Hakubun Kenkyusyo Co., Ltd. Hakubun Kyushu Sales Co., Ltd. → Hakubun Kyushu Sales Co., Ltd.（Changed from “Kanji” to “Hiragana”.） |
| November 1990 | We received a courtesy call from Kadoma Tax Office as an excellent tax filing corporation two consecutive times. |
| November 1991 | We received an excellent SME commendation from the Moriguchi Kadoma Chamber of Commerce. |
| September 1994 | Mr. Makiuchi was appointed as the president of Hakubun Kenkyusyo Co., Ltd. |
| November 1995 | The company was honored by the Kadoma Tax Office as an excellent tax declaration company for the third consecutive time. |
| August 1996 | Makiuchi Mitsuhisa was appointed President of Hakubun Co., Ltd. |
| July 1999 | Changed the organization from Hakubun Kyushu Sales Co., Ltd. to Hakubun Co., Ltd. Kyushu Branch. |
| June 2000 | We built a new warehouse in Daito, Osaka. |
| November 2000 | The company was honored by the Kadoma Tax Office for the fourth time in a row as a company with excellent tax returns. |
| April 2002 | Hakubun Kenkyusyo Co., Ltd. acquired ISO9001 certification. |
| May 2004 | Yoshihiro Makiuchi, the founder of the company, passed away. A company funeral was held at Rihga Royal Hotel. |
| November 2005 | The company was honored by the Kadoma Tax Office as an excellent tax declaration company for the fifth consecutive time. |
| November 2010 | The company was honored by the Kadoma Tax Office for the sixth time in a row as a company with excellent tax returns. |
| March 2011 | We opened the Tokyo branch of Hakubun Kenkyusyo Co., Ltd. |
| November 2015 | The company was honored by the Kadoma Tax Office as an excellent declaration company seven consecutive times. |
| May 2017 | We held the 60th anniversary of the company’s establishment at Taikooen (Osaka) and Palace Hotel (Tokyo). |
